1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how LLMHelper.ai (“LLMHelper”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information when you use LLMHelper.ai (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — your email address, and optional name or profile details you provide.
• Billing information — subscription status and non-sensitive identifiers (payment processor customer ID, subscription ID, subscription status, current period end, cancel-at-period-end flag, and trial end date). Card details are collected and stored by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number, expiration, or CVC.
• Onboarding & role context — the information you enter about your work or goals to personalize Output.
• Prompts & generated Output — the requests you submit and the AI responses returned to you.
• Usage data — logs of features used, timestamps, device and browser type, and IP address, used for security, analytics, and reliability.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used for authentication, session management, and core functionality (see Section 13).

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Personalize Output based on your role and preferences.
• Process payments, manage your 3-day free trial, and administer your subscription.
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3a. Free Trial & Subscription Billing

New accounts start with a 3-day free trial that requires a valid payment method up front. Your card is captured and stored by our payment processor when you start the trial, but you are not charged during the trial period. At the end of the 3 days, your subscription automatically renews at $10 USD per month unless you cancel first. You can cancel any time from the billing page in your account, and cancellation stops future renewals. If your payment method becomes invalid before the trial ends, the subscription will be canceled and you will not be charged. We only receive and store non-sensitive billing metadata from our payment processor as described in Section 2.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (where required, e.g. certain communications), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. AI Processing Disclosure

To generate Output, we send your prompts and relevant context to third-party AI model providers (including AI detection and AI rewriting services). Those providers process the data under their own terms. We do not use your prompts or Output to train our own models, and we instruct providers via their APIs in ways intended to keep your data out of their model training where such controls are offered. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal data, credentials, or regulated information.

5a. LLMHelper Chrome Extension

This section specifically describes the collection, handling, storage, and sharing of user data by the LLMHelper Chrome Extension (the “Extension”). Before you sign in, the Extension shows a notice explaining what data is sent and why, with a link to this policy. Signing in confirms your consent.

User Data Collection

• Authentication information — the email and password you enter to sign in. They are sent directly over HTTPS to our authentication service and are never stored by the Extension.
• Session token — a sign-in token issued after login, so you stay signed in.
• Text you submit — text you type, paste, or send via the right-click menu into the AI Detector, AI Humanizer, Automations Builder, or Plugin Search.
• Results and history — the outputs returned to you and your run history.

The Extension does not automatically collect browsing history, web page content, location, keystrokes, or activity on other websites. The Extension processes only text that a user intentionally submits to an Extension feature, including text the user explicitly selects and submits through the Chrome context menu. It has no host permissions.

User Data Handling and Use

Data is used solely to provide the features you request: running the selected tool, verifying your subscription, counting words against your usage allowance, and showing your history. All requests are sent over encrypted HTTPS connections to llmhelper.ai. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness.

User Data Storage

The session token is stored locally on your device in Chrome's extension storage and is removed when you sign out or uninstall. Submitted text, results, and history are stored in our secure database, linked to your account and protected by access controls, and kept until you delete them or close your account.

User Data Sharing

Text you submit is shared only with the AI providers needed to run the selected tool (third-party AI model, AI detection, and AI rewriting providers). Subscription checks use data from our payment processor. We never sell user data or transfer it to third parties for any other purpose.

Limited Use

The use of information received from the Extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual runs from History in the Extension or on the website, sign out to remove the local session, or email support@llmhelper.ai to delete your account and all associated data.

6. Sharing & Subprocessors

We share personal information only with:

• Payment processing — our third-party payment processor.
• AI service providers — third-party AI model, AI detection, and AI rewriting providers. A current list of subprocessors is available on request at support@llmhelper.ai.
• Cloud hosting and database infrastructure — our managed cloud infrastructure provider.
• Analytics or error monitoring — where enabled, to help us understand usage and fix bugs.
• Legal & safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Data Retention

We retain account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Prompts and Output are retained to power your history until you delete them or your account. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 10).

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email support@llmhelper.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have rights to know, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. Categories of personal information we collect are described in Section 2, used for the purposes described in Section 3, and disclosed to the categories of recipients in Section 6.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and functional cookies to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies by default. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, communicated by email or in-app notice.
